HR Cares: Rosewood Grill Strongsville Teams Up for the 32nd Annual Chili Open

Community, camaraderie, and a whole lot of chili — that was the recipe for success at this year’s 32nd Annual Chili Open, hosted by the Rotary Club of Strongsville on February 22nd. Held at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds, the event — widely regarded as northeast Ohio’s most anticipated outdoor winter bash (now mostly enjoyed indoors!) — brought together hundreds of locals, leaders, and community champions for a great cause.

Hospitality Restaurants’ very own Rosewood Grill Strongsville was proud to play a major role in the day’s festivities. From food line coordination and event setup to donating and auctioning off an exclusive bourbon experience package (which raised an incredible $2,000+ on its own!), our team was all hands on deck in support of this important community initiative.

The 2025 Chili Open was one for the record books, raising a staggering $65,000 to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Celebrity guests mingled with guests, golfers braved the signature outdoor Par 3 Chili Open golf hole, and, true to its name, there was chili galore.

“HR was well represented that day,” said Chris Kneeland, Managing Partner at Hospitality Restaurants. “We work very closely with the Rotary Club in Strongsville. They do so much for the community and beyond. Our company’s values align closely with theirs — it’s truly a privilege to support such a great group and a great cause.”

HR Cares, our company’s community outreach initiative, is rooted in supporting organizations and events that make a lasting impact. The Chili Open is one of many ways we show up for our neighborhoods, and we couldn’t be more proud to stand with the Rotary Club and the Strongsville community.
