HOSPITALITY RESTAURANTS HONORED AS A 2025 TOP WORKPLACE IN NORTHEAST OHIO

[FAIRVIEW PARK, OHIO, July 1, 2025]For the 10th time, Hospitality Restaurants has been named a Top Workplace by the Cleveland Plain Dealer and Cleveland.com—solidifying its legacy as one of Northeast Ohio’s most respected and employee-centered hospitality companies.

The honor is based entirely on confidential employee feedback collected through a third-party survey administered by Energage, a leading workplace culture research firm. Employees are asked to evaluate key drivers of engagement such as leadership, alignment, company values, and growth opportunity. To qualify, at least 35% of employees must participate, and Hospitality Restaurants continue to exceed that threshold—demonstrating a culture of open communication and trust.

“We are deeply honored to receive this award for the 10th time,” said Linda Ekey, Managing Partner. “This recognition carries special meaning because it comes directly from our people. For more than 27 years, I’ve worked to represent and advocate for our team, and knowing they feel heard and valued is the greatest validation of that work.”

Founded in 1991 by lifelong friends George Schindler, Kay Ameen, and Dave Hale, Hospitality Restaurants began with a single vision: to create a dining experience that blends quality, community, and heart. From a humble log cabin in Westlake—now the well-loved Cabin Club—the company has grown to operate nine successful concepts across Northeast Ohio.

George Schindler shared, “From the beginning, our goal has always been to create a legacy of hospitality in Northeast Ohio. Last year, we proudly welcomed Linda Ekey, P.J. Saracusa, and Chris Kneeland as Managing Partners—each of whom has played a pivotal role in shaping our culture, strengthening our service standards, and supporting our incredible team. With their leadership and passion, we’re confident that we’re not only honoring our past, but building a strong foundation for the next 30 years.

Patrick “P.J.” Saracusa, Managing Partner, echoed the importance of culture: “This recognition reinforces our belief that if you take care of your people, they take care of the guests. Culture isn’t something you say—it’s something you live every day, and I’m proud of the way our team shows up for each other.”

Today, Hospitality Restaurants operates nine distinct properties: Cabin Club (Westlake), Salmon Dave’s (Rocky River), Delmonico’s (Independence), Blue Point Grille & Thirsty Parrot (Downtown Cleveland), Kingfish (Copley), and Rosewood Grill in Hudson, Westlake, and Strongsville.
